One of the highlights of being an author of young adult novels is visiting schools and talking directly to students about writing, the publishing business, and the joys and struggles of being a professional artist. Because of my varied background writing for theatre, film, digital series, and books, I can bring a wide perspective to the many paths an artist might take.

Since I’m based in Los Angeles, I’m happy to do school visits for free (depending on my schedule). All I ask is you buy 10 copies of my books to give away in any way the school sees fit. Outside of Los Angeles, travel would also need to be provided.
